Independent Pros was built on a concept for recruiting, hiring, and coordinating independent professionals to deliver cost-effective and successful business services. Since 1998, the process has been enhanced and refined to one that provides comprehensive staffing services in accounting, executive and strategic development and executive administration.

The Service Management Team

Hajar A. Logan, Senior Partner

Mrs. Logan received a B.A. in International Relations with a concentration in Global Economics and International Security from Wellesley College, in 1995. This degree included an intense review of the effects of Global Economic policies in the developing world at the University of the West Indies. Mrs. Logan, then, completed coursework with a division of Jewish Philanthropies and became certified in Business Plan Writing and Self-Employment Training.

Subsequently Mrs. Logan played key roles in the development of several microenterprises and small businesses, in many different fields. These fields include Publishing, Clothing Retail, Education, Strategic Development, Accounting and Bookkeeping and Outsourced services. Mrs. Logan's work included writing and marketing for independent consultants, Sales Strategy Development, direct marketing, human resources, service delivery and billing management and business planning.

In 2001, a former client asked Mrs. Logan to assume a management role at their bookkeeping company. Mrs. Logan became responsible for accounts receivable, projected and actual billing analysis, service delivery coordination through contract accountants and new business development. Mrs. Logan brought $15,000.00 worth of new business to their company and managed 40 client accounts and a database of over 20 contract professionals. Mrs. Logan also conducted placement services as a part of her duties, finding temporary and permanent positions for entry-level accounting clerks the company trained.

In 2002, Mrs. Logan joined LCII, again, with a revolutionary concept for service delivery and coordinating subcontractor services. The concept was initially designed for an interactive site but was later developed into what is now IndependentPROS and Jirga Enterprise Development Trust. Independent PROS now provides professional independent consultants to businesses, nationally.

With Independent PROS, Mrs. Logan established an executive assistant service for small business owners. Through this service Independent PROS’ small business clients receive monthly income statements and developed contact databases, marketing literature, as well as sales and service delivery support and funding assistance.
